We can think of things we have never experienced thanks to our imagination because we have seen them or we have heard speaking about them. Our imagination is based on our experiences and their connections. We could never imagine something that doesn’t exist for us. And if our imagination started from scratch, if we didn’t know what we know now, just at the moment when we breathe for the first time, what would we imagine?
I’ve chosen this image because, from my point of view, it represents that our routine blinds our capacity to imagine and it doesn’t allow us to think beyond the reality we already know. What is the first thing we think of? Do we start reasoning once we have basic knowledge? What would there be in our minds if we were not influenced by anything?
These questions lead us to a unique reflection, which is that human beings will never have a free way of thinking which is not determined by each aspect of their existence.
